About EPMP

The Engineering Progressional Master's Programs (EPMP) in the George R. Brown School of Engineering and Computing at Rice University is empowering the next generation of leaders with strong technical and data science skills, creative problem solving and the ability to integrate across disciplines to address humankind's most pressing problems. It's a non-thesis degree designed for students who wish to expand their engineering knowledge.

Why a Professional Master's Degree?

A professional master's degree emphasizes the practical aspects of engineering, combined with elective coursework in business, management, communication, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Outside the classroom, students can take advantage of networking opportunities and professional seminars, in addition to the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership and the Doerr Institute for New Leaders.
